PRIME DIRECTIVE

As the right of each sentient species to live in accordance with its normal cultural evolution is considered sacred, no Star Fleet personnel may interfere with the healthy development of alien life and culture. Such interference includes the introduction of superior knowledge, strength, or technology to a world whose society is incapable of handling such advantages wisely. Star Fleet personnel may not violate this Prime Directive, even to save their lives and/or their ship unless they are acting to right an earlier violation or an accidental contamination of said culture. This directive takes precedence over any and all other considerations, and carries with it the highest moral obligation.

Star Trek Personality Test

This test has twenty-eight questions testing four aspects of your personality. When you reach the conclusion of the test, you will be told of your basic personality parameters as well as the Star Trek characters who match with you.

For each question, answer honestly and instinctively. Do not skip questions. When you are done, count each "a" answer as one point, and each "b" answer as two points. No answer is right or wrong, and the goal is not to get lower or higher scores. Your score simply determines which link to click on next.

1. When the Vulcan ambassador, currently traveling to Babel, offers a series of meditative courses designed to renew energy and encourage inner harmony you are:

a. Not really interested.
b. Very interested.

2. A Borg sphere appears in front of the Enterprise, weapons at the ready, and your first instinct is to:

a. Destroy them.
b. Figure out what's going on.

3. Upon beaming down to a mysterious planet in the Delta Quadrant, you discover that the aliens are capable of reading your mind and instantly transforming your slightest wish into a harmless and fun reality for everyone to see. You:

a. Stay for a week.
b. Beam back up to the ship and read a book.

4. (Pretend you're not married if you are.) The alien lover of your dreams offers to give you a night of unbridled passion, no strings attached. All you have to smile. You:

a. Smile.
b. Get out your tricorder and scan the alien for danger.

5. If your safety were guaranteed, which would be more interesting?

a. Being temporarily part of the Borg Collective hive-mind.
b. A one-on-one mind-meld with a friend.

6. If you had an hour in the holodeck, which program would you more likely select?

a. A wild party with famous people.
b. A tranquil walk in a beautiful forest.

7. An evil Kirk and his evil crew from the Alternative Universe beam into your quarters and start poking you in the chest. You:

a. Poke them back.
b. Try to talk while quietly alerting Security.

Add up your score: one point for each "a," and two points for each "b."
